Spare part rope 15m for adjustable Petzl Grillon. A worn or damaged rope can be quickly replaced by a new one by the user or the person performing the annual inspection. Does not include adjustment device.
At both ends of the rope, there is a thermoplastic cover around the sewn closing loop, which prevents the rope from wearing out and keeps the locking ring in the desired position. The end of the rope that is connected to the anchor point has a loop to which the closing ring is attached, the length marking of the rope can be found at this end. The free end of the rope is closed with a black screw so that a fastener is not accidentally attached to it, the identification information of the rope can be found at this end.
Replacement instructions: Open the screw in the gold-colored side plate of the adjuster, turn the side plate aside and remove the worn rope. Install the new spare part rope and make sure it comes in the right direction. Close the side plate and tighten the screw back in place.
IMPORTANT: Always check that the screw is tightened and perform a pull test to ensure that the rope is installed in the correct direction. It is strictly forbidden to put Grillon into operation before performing the pull test.
