Khare is a small village with the last chance to stay indoors. You will find a bakery on the spot and the internet works well with small &quot;scratch values&quot; from which you can use a certain amount of data time. However, you should be aware that cards are not always available and the time you can use the internet is limited.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The slopes next to Khare&#039;s accommodations work excellently as a practice slope for roping skills. In particular, the sandy back slope of the shot above is a perfect place to practice climbing, as the sun warms you up well. In the evening, the clouds arrive and it can be very cold indoors, so sweatpants are also a must here.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Many people don&#039;t prefer showering at these heights, but I personally tested it after the summit....even without washing my hair. A bucket full of hot water, a shed on a cobblestone floor, and the job is done quickly. If you take the opportunity, don&#039;t leave the process until dusk. It&#039;s sure to be lively!!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Base camp 5350m<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The base camp under the edge of the glacier is first approached along a good path. Soon, however, we move to a rocky and sometimes steep climb. If you have weak or easily aching knees, you should book hiking poles with you. The meltwater looks like tap water and there are bad spots. However, it is possible to melt the ice from above the camp. We carried a little extra water with us, and with tea, melt water isn&#039;t any worse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Upper camp 5780m<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The journey towards the upper camp is pleasant. The accommodation has been next to the glacier and the day starts immediately with snow. The route is clear and easy to navigate. A rocky slope with stunning views. A word of warning about nighttime toilet gigs. The best ever!!! The mountain is cold. Very cold. This time we had to climb the whole way wearing a top coat. The views are impossibly wonderful, crowned by Everest itself in the back left (where the clouds touch the mountains).<\/p>\n<p>Technically, the mountain is easy, but the challenge is the long distances and especially the ascent closer to five and a half kilometers. Good acclimatization is a prerequisite for everything.
