Petzl is known for its quality climbing equipment, harnesses, ropes, lamps and safety equipment. The most famous French-made product is the Petzlin Grigri, which is popular with climbers year after year.

Petzl kotipaikka on Crollesissa (lähellä Grenoblea), Ranskassa. Yrityksen perusti luolatutkija Fernand Petzl 1970-luvun puolivälissä.

Heidän kolme erikoisalaansa ovat ”verticality” (kiipeily, vuorikiipeily), korkealla työskentely sekä otsalamput. Camun laajasta valikoimasta löydät kattavasti kaiken kolmen osa-alueen tarvikkeita.
